It's Family Reunion Time !!

It's all about family, food and family!!!!!!!

(Aunt Beulah, rented a blow up bouncer and slide, the kids loved it. Kylee comin' down with a big smile. Jordan bringin' down Mati.)

Why do we let little things stress us out so much. I spent way too much energy and time putting together the family news letter. It just shouldn't have been the as big a job as I made it. I tend to overdue things. The news letter turned out great. I learned a lot putting it together. It just didn't need to be so elaborate or stressful. Thank goodness dear brother Boyd backed me up. There were a couple of days last week I wouldn't have made it without his computer savvy. Plus dear daughter Tori helped format it. If not for help it would have Been 15 pages long. She got it down to 10 and Boyd shortened that to 9. It still took 4 1/2 hours for Boyd's fancy, dancey, lazer printer to print it. I haven't spent so much time with Boyd since we were little, and I was paid $1.00 a day to babysit him.
Part of the stress of the newsletter, was getting news. I started emailing people months ago, and still didn't get information until the last minute, too late or not at all. Some family members said they didn't care if they were in the news letter anyway. Some swore they never got my emails.

One email got lost out in there in the great cyber world. I did my best. Next year is another year. I appreciate everyone who helped and sent in their news. I refuse to stress over it anymore, at least until May 2009.

(Baby James enjoying the sun and his thumb!!!!)

There is a little kitchen update. Dear Son in Law, Cloyd, helped dear husband tile the back splash. It really looks good. It will look better when its grouted. The plumbing was finally finished last Thursday. Most of the boxes are unpacked. Its just a bunch of anoying stuff that still needs finishing. A little bit of molding, drawer pulls, touch up paint, grout ...........I tend to stress out about little things. Dear Husband thinks he can tile the bathroom now. He's not going anywhere until I take my finished pictures of the kitchen.

Dear Katie, I can't believe I spent so much time doing it. Make sure you keep it forever!!! (j/k)
But for sure make sure you record the dates in your family records.
Thats mostly the idea, getting those dates for our records. We think baby James is pretty cute too. Can't wait to see what baby "Corbin" looks like!!! :)Aunt Norma
