Even James and Grampa love the balloons!
Last night Kylee had to go to the ER. Nothing serious, she's been running a fever. She had a real meltdown during her birthday party. Poor baby, just too much for her. I went with her to the hospital. We were afraid she might have an ear infection, or maybe her tonsils. She has a history of that kind of thing. I promised her if she would be good for Dr. Dr. (thats what we call him.) I would get her a balloon. This was at 9:00 at night. Everyone doubted my ability to find a balloon at the time of the evening. Never doubt a grandma. We always keep our promises. I just blew up a rubber glove. Kylee couldn't have been happier. She didn't make a peep while she was examined. She hugged and hugged her rubber glove balloon. I wish I would have taken my camera.
This is Kylee and her daddy. Kylee and her daddy adore each other. Kylee and Mati are really enjoying their new playhouse. I can't wait for Bella to come down to play in it. Were still waiting for Bella's baby sister to come. She's officially two weeks late. Of course, were getting kind of concerned. I hope she isn't stuck.
This is Kylee and Mati at Kylee's birthday party. Kylee could care less about her birthday presents, she just wanted the balloons. I wish all lifes problems could be solved with a good balloon. I've discovered we can go to the local grocery store for a good time on a small budget. A free cookie at the bakery, a free balloon at the customer service desk, and a 25 cent ride on the merry go round by the front door. It really does take so little. I also enjoy the trip to the store. I never fail to run into a good friend or two. When your with toddlers all day, its nice to see a grownup.
With Kylee not feeling well the last couple of days. I've been really grateful that Mati is feeling good. I've had to carry Kylee everywhere. When Kylee wants to be picked up she says "Hug".
Mati has been really happy today. Its nice when only one of them is throwing a tantrum.
Mati is pretty mello most of the time. I think she's kind of relieved when Kylee goes home and she can be the center of attention for awhile.

I love your new posts. It looks like everyone had a good fourth! I'm sorry to hear about Kylee... having sick kids is the worst! Have they thought about taking out her tonsils? Have I ever told you that you are a great grandma? What fun the kiddos must have with you!!
Oh, and about Emily's baby... come out already!!! Poor woman!
I loved your comment on my blog about the laundry. You are so funny!
You are the neatest grandma and you are doing such a great service to your grandkids by being so invested in their lives. Two of my greatest influences are my two grandmas...and we don't even have to talk about how much Coby's grandma has meant in his life. Yes, Grandma's are awesome and you are a GREAT one!
Oh my! Emily has WAY more patience than I ever would. Simply amazing...keep me posted. I am keeping her and Jeremy in my prayers.
Love you, love your blog!
