This weekend Grandma and Grandpa had to go to Salt Lake City. My littlest cousin "Ruby" was getting a blessing at church. My mommy had to work on the ambulance, so I went with them. Grandma and Grandpa took me and my cousins to the zoo. I always wanted to go to the zoo, I was so excited. My Uncle Jordan took me for a ride on an Elephant.
"Uncle Jordan," I said. "You don't have to hold me, I can do it myself." Uncle Jordan thought I was to little for such a big Elephant. The Elephant was the biggest animal on the Carosel.
This is Grandpa holding me up so that I can see the Elephants better. I loved the real Elephants. I can walk like an Elephant. I learned it on Barney.
This is my Uncle Jeremy, My Aunt Emily, my cousin Bella and Ruby. Bella wasn't feeling very well. She had a cold. I hope she liked the Elephants. She had to go home before she got a chance to ride on one. I hope she is feeling better.
This is my cousin Darian, Grandpa and Uncle Jordan. They were trying to decide whether to go see the Bears or the Monkeys. I voted for the Zebras. They didn't listen to me, I think we ended up watching the Penguins. They were pretty cool, so I didn't mind.
This is me and Grandpa seeing a real giraffe. Wow, they are so tall. My cousin Bella went up some stairs and one almost licked her with its looooong tongue.
This is my cousin Darian on the Carosel. She's riding on the Kangaroo. Not quite as cool as my Elephant but she made it work.
My whole family went out to eat at "Chili's". This is me coloring. I started eating the crayons so grandma took them away from me. Then I spilled my water all over the coloring book and grandma took that away from me too. A girl just can't have any fun.
This is James. This is what grandma calls a "milestone", James has never sat at the big table before. Uncle Cloyd gave him some bread crumbs to eat. He's such a happy baby. I think he would have liked to eat ribs though. His mommy says he has to wait until he gets teeth.
This is me in timeout. Uncle Jordan said I had to sit here because I threw my food on the floor. I throw my food on the floor at home all the time. Apparently "Chilis" doesn't have any dogs to clean it up. How was I to know? I did my time without complaining.
This is Bella eating celery. Bella is a big girl too.
This is baby Ruby. She's the one who brought us all together this weekend. It was a short vacation but we had a good time. I don't like sitting in my car seat for so long. I missed my mommy and I cried a little. It was fun to go to the zoo and hang out with my Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. We also went to a farmers market and heard some good music. Uncle Cloyd bought some really good honey. Grandma wants to go back and spend more time at the Market. Next year I hope my mommy, Aunt Megan, Uncle Jesse and Kylee to come. There's so much to do and we had so much fun !!!!!!
