Time to put the Turkey back in the tree !!! The girls don't think Turkey should be in the tree.Dear Daughters think I should wait until after Halloween to put up Turkey. I think Turkey is pretty Scarey. I mean He's got a musket, Sniper Turkey.
I've never been a big fan of Halloween !!! In fact I have always tried to avoid the whole pumpkin thing. Of course sometimes for the sake of the "children" I've had to get my hands in the guck and the seeds. Usually I've just got dear Husband to do it. Dear Husband loves Halloween. He has the candy bought about a month in advance. He can't wait for all the little ghosts and goblins to show up at our door. I also pawn Easter Eggs off on him to do.
Kylee and Mati didn't much like the pumpkin guts either. We had a lot of "ewwwwws" and "don't want to". So much for thinking they would love getting their hands into it. I did give Kylee options on the face design. As long as it had Triangles and a mouth she didn't really care.
Dear Son came home from school in the middle of the process. He got a little fancy with the carvers and pumpkin templates. I think it turned out darn cute.
This is Kylee making a pumpkin face. The candles are inside allready to go. It's sad that most of the pumpkins in our neighborhood end up smashed in the street the morning after.
Were planning to roast the pumpkin seeds. I can tell from Kylee's face that she's really excited about that.

Oh, there's the ol' turkey again! We were very glad to see you guys when you came up. I can't wait til Christmas! Not sure what we're doing for Thanksgiving yet, we may be going out to KY. We'll let you know.
