Life is full of milestones's. Being so involved with my Granddaughters has been an opportunity for me to see once again these steps, in progress. Rolling, Crawling, Walking.......and now Potty Training. Kylee seems to have finally decided it's much cooler to wear Pretty big girl pants than to wear diapers, we went dry the whole day Friday, I was so proud. Not to be out done, dear baby Mati will be right behind her. Dear Daughter bought her "Dora" potty pants and a "Dora" potty chair and stool etc.......to encourage her. She's excited about the whole thing, or at least she thinks the whole "Dora" thing is pretty fun.

While the whole toddler thing is going on, I'm also watching dear son grow up. "Mom I have to get my ACT registration in, Will you do it?" He says, while running through the house on his way to basketball practice " Oh and by the way, I have to take it in San Juan on April 4, because I have a baseball tournament that day. So we have to spend the night there, get up and take the test and then play baseball. You'll take care of that for me mom, thanks mom." door slam shuts.

So when I took the ACT, (back in the good old days), I think I got a phone call to show up at the school during the summer after my Junior year. I don't remember it being a big deal or filling out any forms. When my older children took it, they had to fill out a form and send it in with some money. They actually took the test a couple of times too improve their scores. It seemed a bigger deal, but I don't remember the application being a real big deal. Of course I think they filled it out, I just wrote the check and put a stamp on it.

Okay, so now the whole thing has gone really high tech. Its all on line, and the price has gone up. It took about half an hour to answer all the questions. Pages and pages of questions. I pretended to be my son and did the best I could. I decided after filling out the ACT application, potty training is a piece of cake.

This weekend was the region play in game. This is Mati and James enjoying the action. Our team lost, but it was really an exciting game. I'm going to miss basketball, but it's time to move on to baseball. I do want dear son to know how proud of him I am. He had to overcome a lot of obstacles this year. A badly sprained ankle, bronchitus etc. He was often frustrated, but he never missed a practice or a game, even when he couldn't play. He was amazing on Saturday. He fought to the bitter end, no matter what the score showed, he was a winner. I can't wait until next year. He actually fouled out in the last seconds. The referee even came up and shook his hand and congratulated him on a good game. I've never seen that before.

Dear daughter and her husband and baby came to Manti to watch the game. We actually went up a day early and spent the night with them so we could spend time with our up North family and go shopping. "Kohls" was having a great sale. Baby Mati's two year birthday is also coming up and dear daughter wanted to do some shopping.

You might notice Mati has a new accessory on her arm in this picture. We'll get too that in a minute. Doesn't she look cute sitting by grandpa watching the bball game.

We went to "Chilis" for lunch on Saturday. It was really good. I wish I had a picture of the Molten Lava dessert I split with Dear Darian and her friend. It was so good. Dear Darian and her friend were really funny. I wish I had a picture. I missed them some how.

Okay, this is Mati with her new fashion statement. I guess the first broken bone is a growing up thing. Mati managed to fall out of the stroller at "Kohls" when we were shopping. She broke her fall with her hand and managed to break a bone in her wrist. We had to spend a couple of hours in the instacare. Her Mommy felt so bad. Mati was a very brave girl. Ater the painful X-rays and stuff she said " Thank-you, not hurt me anymore".

This is sweet Bella at lunch . She's getting so big. I love cuddling her, I'm so glad she doesn't forget me between visits.

This is dear son with baby Ruby. She's allready pulling herself up on furniture. She's a mommy's girl, lots of separation anxiety. She let me hold her for quite awhile though. I have to get lots of snuggles in on our visits.

This is Mati in the car on our way North, before broken arm. Doesn't she look happy. Who could know that less than 24 hours later she would be broken. So sorry baby.

I bought a new camera. The above pictures are my first efforts with it. It's not exactly what I want, but it has lots more features than my old one. I'm still practicing with it. I did manage to snap this picture of my two "big" girls in the front yard, that turned out pretty well. Time seems to just fly. Everybody is growing up so fast.

yay- I love your new posts. Everyone is looking so grown up... and truth be told it makes me home sick! I really do wish I lived closer to your girls and all their pretty babies, my Addy needs some friends!
Great pictures- what kind of camera did you get? Maybe we can learn together!!
Hi Katie, its just a little Pentax. It has shake control, good at my age, and face recognition features. It has 12 megapixels which is more than I had, I found out I miss my bigger zoom at the game. The higher megapixels mean I can crop and still blow up shots. miss you too, maybe you can open a pharmacy in Fredonia???? Love A.N.
It was great having you guys up for the day. I love spending time with ya all. I'm with Katie it makes me a bit homesick as well. I love you guys.
