So the girls were watching "Barney" and I thought I would go and check out Katies blog. I have to admit I go through her blog, to check out her favorite blogs. She has found some really good cooking blogs, and though I don't cook, I like to admire the results of people who do. I really need to explore and find some blogs to follow of my own, other than the family ones, who just don't post often enough. With the exception of Emily, but since I'm past the whole birthin' thing and don't plan on growing back my uterus any time soon I usually only go there to look at my darling grandchildren and see what her recipe of the week is.
(This is a picture of little brother Boyd, torturing his neices and nephews at Matis birthday Party, nothing much changes even as we get older)
Anyway I'm sitting here happily blogging. Everybodys gone potty and I thought I would have a few moments. When I realized the girls weren't on the floor and things were very quiet. Well, anyway they had their dolls in the bathroom and were giving them a bath in the toilet. I guess they were trying to Potty Train them. During time out, Mati pooped her pants, she has #1 down, refuses to wear a diaper, but is struggling with the poo thing. I know it will come. I swear these girls are faster than a speeding bullett and help able to leap tall buildings at a single bound.....well you get the picture.
( We were discussing at the Party, that if you find a man whose a good dad, you should keep him. Jesse is a good dad.)
(This is Boyd cuddling with Mati, she loves him. Whenever she see's him she crawls up on his lap and puts her arms as far around him as she can and hugs him. He's going to be a good grandpa someday.)

I was thinking about dancing with the stars last night. I'm not going to copy and paste the reveiw off msn, I'll give my own opinions instead. You can click on the widget to see the show. Last night I thought Melissa was awesome coming in with only 48 hrs. notice. I thought her emotion was genuine. She's had a wild week, and she really did well. I hope she can do as well with a Latin dance.
Dear Son watched with us last night. He was pretty stoked about Shaun Johnson being on the show. He totally thinks shes hot. I thought she did really well. I thought her lines were good. She's lucky to have Mark as her partner.
The men are definitely stronger than the women this year as a group, but Shaun and Melissa are both contenders. The Cowboy Ty Murray, was terrible, but had such a charming, goofiness about him I kinda cheered him on. Blame it on my thing for Wrangler Butts. I thought David Allen Greer was a surprise and really funny. The guy from Jack*** has annoying teeth. The Apple billionaire is really smart but I mean really his poor partner, why are the producers mad at her ??? Julianne and Will, well are just too cute for words (sarcasm here) and the French guy, okay Cheryl Burke get your hands off him. I think he might be able to dance too.
Little Miss Playboy isn't going to last, unless a lot of men have started watching the show. Which is kind of sad for Dimitry in his first season as a pro. (Chelsea has the same problem with Ty Murray as her partner, were not going to see much of her either this season). The rest of the women are just kind of forgettable and will be sent home one by one. I'm not making any early predictions, but it was pretty obvious who was a natural and who wasn't.
My yard looks great. Dear Cousin Kim came and dethatched it today. Its making me have Spring Fever. It was really cold and Windy yesterday and chilly today. I hope tomorrow we can go for a hike. I went and scoped out the Golf Course, I think there's some short Hike possibilities, with lots of climbing.
I wonder when Mati is getting her cast off ?? It will be lots easier for both of us, when she doesn't need so much help.
This weekend is the Chuckwagon Classic, which kicks off the baseball season. Dear Son is kind of discouraged with his Batting. I hope he can pull out of his slump. I also hope it warms up this weekend. Spring baseball can get really cold. Dear daughter and family are coming down this weekend and will be here to cheer dear son on. He doesn't have to hit the ball over the fence, just enough to get on base. After that his speed kicks in and he'll score. I'll let you know how it goes.

Sounds like you all had a good day! I loved the post, and I totally agree with all your summary of dancing with the stars. I think that Shaun and Melissa will do well- and have I ever told you Carina drives me nuts?! Did you know she and Maxsum are engaged? Oh, anyway.... thanks for mentioning me in the post... have you looked at Pioneer Womans blog? I love her!!
