- I quit my job in retailing,after 16 years to take on the harder job of taking care of my two small granddaughters. Their moms started a new jobs and needed daycare. I decided if they were going to pay someone, it might as well be me. Who's going to love them more. Its a challenge, but its like a second chance to do what I love,raise babies. I'm much more patient now. They are so beautiful.
