Merry Christmas 2009 !!!

Finally I thought I would take some time to say goodbye to the old year and welcome in the new.
It seems the years are going by faster and faster. Jordan will be on on mission next Christmas. 2010 will bring a lot of changes for our family. It's one of those milestone years, it begins the empty nest years.
Though, I guess our nest will never trully be empty as long as our Children continue to return home and bring their Children with them. I'm so lucky to have Kylee and Mati with me everyday. I have at least 3 years before they start school full time.
I don't get to see Bella and Ruby nearly as much as I'd like too. But, that just makes our visits to them and their visits here even more precious.

Darian turned 16 the Monday after Christmas. It was so fun to see her driving. She is growing up to be a very wise young woman. A good example for her little sisters.

Our only little Grandson, James. He is so funny. He's starting to communicate more and was excited to open his Christmas. I love to watch hime try to keep up with his older cousins.

Mati was caught up in the whole Magic of the Christmas experience.

Kylee wore her Santa Hat everywhere before Christmas. She would pretend to bring everybody presents.

Oh look James, New Christmas Eve Pajamas !!

Ruby and her daddy look at all the Christmas pretties.

Ruby and Bella discuss their new Christmas P.J.'s

The girls take a time out with Aunt Emily. Notice all the envelopes on the Christmas tree.
I've re-written the Christmas story. " The gift cards were hung on the tree with care, in hopes of good sales after Christmas we snare......"
The packages are all opened now, all we can do is dream about next year.
For Kylee it will seem like forever, waiting for next Christmas. For me it will seem like a blink of an eye. Why do the years get shorter as we get older?
