Dear Daughter #2, Tori, made a comment about me not blogging for awhile. Two whole days Dear Daughter, have you noticed the date on your last blog??? By the way, we've got to get over to St. George and pick up Mati's pictures at Sears. Unless you know somebody whose coming this way, or going that way???? I totally forgot to Give Dear Son #1, Jeremy, the pictures of Bella from her Day at Sears. They were just sitting in the back of the car when we were up for baby James blessing. They were still sitting there when we got home. Dear Daughter #1, Kimmy, is supposed to be coming down this weekend. I do hope so. Here maternity leave ends April 21st, so it will be harder for them to come after that. I'll try to remember to send the pictures back with her. She says she has a whole stack of stuff she needs to give to Jeremy and Emily. I hope nothing keeps Kimmy from coming, its supposed to be a beautiful week-end.
Last night the weather was terrible. My fingers were numb by the time we got home from Jordan's baseball game. I doubt were going to have any nice Spring weather. It's just going to go from cold to Summer hot. I missed the first game of the double header. I was actually in the parking lot when Mati started barfing all over. Our baby Mati tends to have a tender tummy.
Sooooo.....we had to come home and have a bath. Poor baby was so good. Kylee was very co-operative through the whole thing. As long as I let her watch Baby Einstein again (and again and again) she was fine with missing the game. As cold as it got it was probably a good thing. Just before we heard the mommy's coming upstairs, Kylee had a severe case of diarrhea. After the throw up, I was glad Dear Daughter, Megan, got there just in time. Anyway, I got to the second game. We won both games by a landslide. It was hardly worth sitting through, or freezing for.
But, hey I'm Jordan's mom. I also love baseball.
Today is my day off. It was pretty much a repeat of last week. Other than sleeping in wasn't a problem this morning. In fact, the problem was getting out of bed at all. It was just so warm and soft. The wind and cold was not good for me last night. But, I've learned that giving into the aching and soreness of my Fibromyalgia just makes everything worse. If I don't get moving, I just get stiffer. The problem mostly is after working hard all day, I stop and can't get going. Excess fatigue also makes it harder for me to fall asleep. It's a balancing act. Reducing stress, getting enough sleep, Exercise, medication......not letting the depression that comes with the package, get to me. Letting my house fall apart is not an option. When things get dirty and shabby looking, it just pushes my stress buttons. I can't do everything I used to do, I have to accept that. But, I try to keep things picked up, the floors mopped and the bathrooms cleaned.
We have a big project coming up starting next week. It's really exciting, but its going to be really stressful. I'll talk more about it as demolition comes closer. I know It's going to be wonderful when its done. I just hope I can handle the mess while the project is being done. Look for further details and before and after pictures coming soon.
