It's really a pretty nice deer. He brought it down with a muzzle loader. I personally think Deer Hunting is not much of a sport. It would be different if the deer had a gun too, but since their pretty much defenseless.........His first deer was a little two point. This one has a better rack of horns on it. He's pretty proud.
This is Kylee. I thought she would think it was yucky, but she wasn't grossed out at all. Okay, even the chief of Police got into the action. It's Chief Tom's fault for taking Jordan hunting with him and his boys, that Jordan's hooked on the whole hunting thing anyway. Jordan loves hunting, fishing, boating......he's been able to enjoy these experiences because of good neighbors and scout leaders. They've been such a blessing to parents who have to work all the time and haven't been financially able to provide these experiences for him. Were so lucky for his sake that we live where we live. I just wish sometimes he didn't like it so much. During Hunting season it's all he can think about. I would be relieved he got his deer, except he'll still keep going out with his friends until they get theirs.

I grew up with guns and hunters. My Dad and brothers loved to go hunting. Sometimes I would go with them. Mostly I would hike around and eat ham sandwiches. I thought it was kind of cold and boring. But I wanted to be included so I always begged to go. I was actually a pretty good fisher woman. I had to bait my own hook and gut my own fish if I wanted to go, but that was okay. Once dad took me Rabbit hunting. He wounded a small cotton tail, it started screaming. It sounded so human, I started to cry. Dad put it out of it's pain with his boot. That was the last time I asked to go hunting with him.
