Bye, Bye Ted !! (gees I have no life!)

Okay, so I think it was a little early to send Ted McGinley home last night. Kim Kardasian is gorgeous, but lets face it she can't dance her way out of a paper bag. Cloris Leachman's a hoot, but Lets face it this is a dance show. Sometimes you actually have to dance. I love Chef Rocco, I think his dimples are way cute. But, he should have gone home before Ted McGinley. It's obvious now who the top dancers are going to be. I just think sending two dancers home the first week might be kind of mean. They really do put a lot of effort into it. Give them a chance to develop a fan base.
In other news the girls and I went on a little hike. It was just up a hill at the park, but they did really good and loved making it to the top on their own. They were like WOW when we got to the top and they could see the library and the hospital from the top. I was hoping they would take good naps after the excercise and lunch. No such luck. Were being challenged by Temper Tantrums right now. I tend to ignore them. Just step right over that screaming toddler until their ready to be reasonable. Lots of praise when their behaving appropriately. Distraction sometimes works, and sometimes a good time out. I just pray they take turns having their melt downs. Both of them at the same time, is just way toooo much. I just put them in the toy room and shut the door.

It was a memorable night for veteran actor Ted McGinley, even despite the fact that he was the second celebrity contestant to be booted from the seventh season of "Dancing With the Stars." For once, the patron saint of jumptheshark.com left a television show before it ran itself into the ground. But while this may be cause for mild celebration for you few-and-far-between McGinley fans, who no doubt first fell in love with his seminal work in the "Revenge of the Nerds" franchise and who have long yearned for him to lose that "jumping the shark" baggage, it's even better news for us "DWTS" faithful. His incredibly mechanical performances just didn't make for pleasant viewing. And as the talent pool slowly winnows itself down, we'll finally get to focus on the celebrities who have real dancing chops. But we're getting ahead of ourselves. For now, a rundown of the rest of the cast who didn't get cut, in the order that they were announced on last night's results show:
Brooke Burke
No surprise here. This curvy celebrity mom extraordinaire has led the competition with the highest scores from the judges these past two nights. She's shown the most ease on the dance floor and heads into next week as the front-runner.

Kim Kardashian
Despite turning in a lackluster performance last night, this reality TV star clearly enjoys a strong fan base and, if the blogosphere is any indication, her fair share of critics. But even if you don't enjoy her dancing, you've got to admit that she just looks drop dead gorgeous. Let's hope she can finally tease out her inner J.Lo sooner rather than later.

Cloris Leachman
Folks, I know this decision is going to upset a whole bunch of you who feel that there's no place for an 82-year-old jokester on a serious dancing competition show. She hasn't looked particularly engaged or competent on the dance floor, and her antics in front of the judges have either infuriated you or caused you to shrug your shoulders and just grin. Well, we've got this golden oldie for at least one more week. So, expect more of the same: mediocre dancing and over-the-top shenanigans where the judging panel is concerned.
Maurice Greene
This former track and field star's got charm oozing out of his pores. Perhaps it's the camera-friendly smile, or maybe even the "worm" he pulled out of his back pocket last night. Whatever it is, he's turned in two highly energetic and utterly entertaining performances. Oh, and that Cheryl Burke ain't that bad, either.
Misty May-Treanor
Misty's the sort of woman I'd want on my side in a bar brawl. She's big, strong and can sure dance a mean mambo. She's clearly opened some eyes with her surprisingly sturdy dance moves, and we can only expect her to continue to improve. Now, if only she could learn to relax those muscular shoulders!
Warren Sapp
There's something so feel-good about watching big guys show off some quick feet. It's the same feeling I got watching Rerun on "What's Happening!" or the late, great Chris Farley as a Chippendales dancer-wannabe on "Saturday Night Live." He's got a presence that's just as big as his body, and there's no other contestant here who's got an attitude that's both fearsome and, at the same time, fun.
Susan Lucci
You think one of the most popular daytime actresses of all time doesn't have a huge fan base? Think again. Fans of Erica Kane span multiple generations. After all, she's been playing Pine Valley's most formidable diva since 1970, folks! So, maybe it didn't matter so much that her debut performance was fragile and uncomfortable to watch. And maybe she continued to look tentative and too delicate in her second dance routine the next night. But, I think we forget that this 61-year-old actress is more than holding her own against some competitors who are still in their 20s!
Rocco DiSpirito
The celebrity chef seriously turned his fortunes around on the second night of competition with a hip-shakin', audience-pleasing mambo routine. As we all know, prim and proper is not his thing (as evidenced by his debut fox-trot performance, not to mention his long-forgotten reality show "The Restaurant"). So, he needs to really shine on these upbeat numbers where he can really show off his natural sense of drama and heat.
Lance Bass
Lance and partner Lacey Schwimmer definitely are the hippest couple among the contestants. They've presented fresh, innovative routines and clearly enjoy genuine chemistry with each other. Even if the judges have indicated that they'd like to see more orthodox routines from them, I, for one, hope they keep pushing things artistically.
Cody Linley
Competing on a show like this would be tough for anyone (ask Jeffrey Ross), but think how difficult it must be for someone who looks -- and sounds -- like he's yet to finish puberty. Alright, so his dances haven't exuded sheer seduction and sex, but they have demonstrated vitality, lightness and joy. Cody and Julianne Hough make a beautiful couple, indeed.
Toni Braxton
Poor Toni had to sweat it out tonight before finding out that she was safe. But she's got to know that, along with Brooke, she's a contestant to beat. There's no question the two of them are head and shoulders above the rest of the competition. I just hope Toni's body holds up!
The Scorecard
Who won the week: Brooke Burke, Toni Braxton and Maurice Greene
Who needs to step it up: Kim Kardashian, Susan Lucci and Rocco DiSpirito
Who surprised us the most: Warren Sapp and Misty May-Treanor

The Guy shot all the CIA people. And Derrek drove the bomb out into the middle of no where and jumped out just in time but there for a second I thought he was a goner. Nobody on the BAU team died. But the blonde that got her back blown away did die. Hotch got mad at Derrek cuz he says he is careless of his own life and trusts NO ONE. Hotch said that he has put his life in Derrek's hands many times and always would but would Derrek ever do that with his life? That was how it ended.
