We Never Win the Coin Toss !!

This is Mati enjoying a day at the "Ole Ball Game".... Kanab spanked poor Millard, 21-11.
Kylee enjoys dropping rocks through the chain link fence. At least it kept her out of the water fountain. The girls love to go swimming in the water fountain. Actually its more like a drum with a faucet sticking out. It doesn't drain properly, so theres always a pool of water in it. It attracts the kids like flys to honey. They can be soaking wet in the time it takes the umpire to call "strike". I set up the chairs away from it yesterday, they tried sneaking over to the water but between me and Granpa Ted (their great grandpa, who always comes to the games.) they couldn't get near it without one of us catching them.

Anyway the Kanab Cowboys tied for first in our 2A division. When there's a tie, the powers that be toss a coin for first and second place. We never win the coin toss. What this means, instead of staying here in Kanab for the state play in games, we have to travel to Blanding Utah. Blanding is a long way from here !!! There will be two games on Saturday. We'll have to leave Friday afternoon sometime, and travel 6 or 7 hours.

It's all worth it. We didn't go earlier in the season to San Juan. They played in a snow storm there a few weeks ago. Hopefully they'll beat them again. They also play Altamont. Altamont has to travel a pretty long way too. We have to win one of the games to go on for the state championship in Kearns, Utah the weekend after this. Yeah, we'll get to see all of grandchildren up North. I can stock up on lots of hugs and kisses.

This is dear son in Catchers equipment. He played catcher yesterday. This is funny because he's never played catcher ever before. He also batted left handed and got a pretty good hit. Poor Millard. I guess we should have played with our hands tied behind our backs.

DANCING UPDATE: Ty really isn't a better dancer than Chuck. Wouldn't it be funny if Ty won this thing. He looks pretty good without his shirt doesn't he???? Jewell's a lucky girl.
