Saturday is a special day

Both of my daughters work on Saturday, but I usually only have Mati. Kylees dad is off on Saturday, and its daddy and daughter day for them. Kylee's dad does a pretty dang good job for such a young dad. If dear daughter would go along with it, he would have lots of kids. This morning however, I had both of them for a couple of hours. Dad went mud bogging in his truck and had to wash it. Kylee is still getting over the RSV and he didn't want to take her out in the cold. Plus, the truck leaks when washed. Grandpa had to go help with setting up chairs for a church activity, so there went my help. The long and short of it is that I didn't get to sleep in.

Sleeping in would have been nice. Usually, Grandpa gets up with Mati at 7:30 on Saturday mornings. Grandpa enjoys his Mati time. I enjoy sleeping until 9:00 a.m. Matisyn is so easy.Kylee is pretty easy when its just her. Together their not so easy. Especially when one or both of them isn't feeling well. Matisyn is sick now too. Matisyn wants grandma, Kylee wants grandma. Grandma wants to sleep in . Fortunately, Kylee's dad picked her up about 11:00.Matisyn went down for a nap. Grandma started spring cleaning. There's a couple of shelves in my kitchen that have not been dusted in seven years......

How in the world did I let the cobwebs and dust go for seven years???? I know it's been at least that long, because thats when we repainted. Since I've been home with the girls, suddenly I'm starting to notice things above eye level. My house is usually pretty clean. The bathrooms get cleaned once a week, the floors getted mopped and vacuumed, I dust where I can reach....It's the big things that have been getting away from me. Closet cleaning, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, scum under the fridge.......I could just go to work and ignore those chores. Now work is at home and ignoring the dust bunnys isn't as easy. So today when Grandpa got home from setting up chairs we tackled some dust. Draperys came down and were washed and the house seems brighter and I may be able to cut back on my zyrtec.

Matisyn was a doll all day. I can tell the mucus and stuff from the RSV is getting worse tonight. Her mom took her to the hospital to get suctioned and located a nebulizer so she could start the breathing treatments. It's pretty emotional to see your baby sick. Fortunately mom has next week off and can take care of her. ...

We were going to Spanish Fork to see dear oldest daughter next week. She had a baby on January 28. The baby was three weeks earlier than expected. Sweet baby James was born by C-section, weighing in at 7 lbs. 4 oz. and 18 inches long. I had to reorganize my life and go up and take care of daddy, mommy and sweet baby for a week when she came home from the hospital.Since the girls had allready taken the due date week off, we were planning to go see their new nephew. Now we'll just spend the time taking care of Kylee and Mati. RSV would not be good around the new baby.

Oldest sons wife is coming down tomorrow and bringing dear granddaughter Bella. They live in Orem where my son is finishing his education. My son's wife has an older daughter, Darian, who has a dentist appointment here on Tuesday. Bella won't be playing with her cousins either.Bella allready did the RSV thing a year ago when she was only 3 months old. She spent about a week in the hospital. Bella doesn't need to do the RSV thing again. Its too bad, the three babies are so cute together and Kylee especially has missed Bella. Kylee points to Bella's picture and says "BELLA" all the time.

One of these days I'm going to figure out how to add pictures to this thing. Just in case anyone reading this is getting confused about the whole family structure. Just realize, I have five kids, four in laws, 1 step-granddaughter, 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson (under the age of two), 4 dogs, a cat and a cockatiel.

In my dream house we all fit in the dining room.
